All licenses run until Dec 31, 2026. Jan 1st you receive one consolidated renewal quote.
For the first two months after creating a node without a license, you can use the node free of charge. In addition, January is always a free month: you can use the platform without a license, even if your trial period has expired.
If your license expires, access to most platform features will be restricted. You will only be able to drop (delete) nodes. All other operations will be unavailable until the license is renewed.
If any node in a cluster has an expired license, access to the entire cluster will be intentionally restricted until all nodes are properly licensed. This policy ensures consistent cluster behavior and maintains compliance across all components.
If you are a superuser, you can create as many nodes as needed. Regular users can create nodes up to the limit set by the superuser—ranging from 0 to 100 per database type. Both VM and Kubernetes nodes are counted towards this limit.
Each license is valid for one year from the date of activation and grants full access to all platform capabilities during this period.
By default, database instances are deployed on virtual machines (VMs). If you have access to additional services such as Proxmox, you can integrate them by entering your service credentials directly in the application.
No. VM and Kubernetes nodes are counted together under the same node limit per database type.
