Restore a PDB export

In the previous demo we have learned...[some new feature]
In this part we will learn/create/setup...[some new feature]

Make sure to switch to the Database layout to see your created PDB's.
Hint: Click once on selected Database, to show the correct assigned exports.
In the Inventory area, click the Export/Import menu.
We have some exports available, so let's restore one of them.

Under Exports of this cluster, select an export PDB you wish to restore.
Drag the ::| icon onto the corresponding Database instance.
A new window will appear.

You will see two informative messages:

  • Checking dump file : ok (the data completeness is verified)
  • User exist check : This will import all users into the PDB default_name.

Click Submit to complete your restore process.

Your configuration path will look like this:
Inventory area → Export/Import → Drag selected PDB export onto corresponding Database → click Submit
