Manage the infrastructure behind your databases
Deploying a database often starts with an infrastructure request.
A developer or DBA needs a machine, a system administrator prepares the VM, provides the connection details and only then can the database deployment begin. Every additional infrastructure change creates another dependency between teams.
123Cluster brings infrastructure management closer to the database workflow through native infrastructure connectors.
Instead of treating the database and the infrastructure underneath it as two completely separate environments, 123Cluster connects them within the same management platform.
Connect to your existing infrastructure
123Cluster supports integrated services including Proxmox, KVM, VMware, Oracle OLVM, Azure, AWS and Kubernetes (K8s/OpenShift).
Once an infrastructure service is registered in 123Cluster, it can be selected directly when configuring a PostgreSQL instance.

Manage resources from the same platform
123Cluster can monitor the resources of connected machines and allows infrastructure resources to be adjusted as requirements change.
Currently supported resource changes include:
- increasing CPU, RAM, and disk resources;
- decreasing CPU and RAM resources;
- monitoring VM/Linux resources through the connected environment.
This gives database and infrastructure teams better visibility into the resources supporting each database without forcing them to switch between completely separate operational workflows.
Built for delegated database operations
Native infrastructure integration is also an important part of the 123Cluster DBaaS model.
Administrators can define limits such as the number of nodes a user is allowed to create, helping teams delegate database operations while retaining centralized control.
Some resource-policy capabilities are still being expanded.
Why it matters
Native connectors reduce the amount of manual coordination required between database users and infrastructure teams. They bring database and infrastructure operations into the same workflow, reduce repetitive operational work, and give teams better visibility into the resources their databases depend on.
Coming next
123Cluster is continuing to expand connector automation, including deeper VM provisioning and resource-policy capabilities.
